This is just a hunch, but something about this article makes me think that Iran is behind or at least funding Al Queda in Iraq. In a videotape released by Al-Zarqawi, he shows off two 6-foot missles, one of which is named "Qods" - I'm not big on conspiracy theory, and maybe I'm just reading "The Scorpions Gate" too lightly, but I have a hard time believing that there is not a connection. You don't just build missles out of sand afterall. Perhaps the Iranians have taken a page from the Bush playbook... "Fighting them over there..."

Ex-AT&T Worker Tells Of NSA Spying Operation

Now the stories come out. Today it's sniffing data because of "national security", tomorrow it's putting jews or arabs or blacks or non-christians in internment camps for national security. "National Security" has been the guise of many oppressive regimes in their efforts to suppress fact. National security is based on trust. I'm quickly losing mine.

A whistleblower supporting an EFF lawsuit describes how an NSA visit to a key AT&T switching center allegedly led to the creation of a secret wiretap room, where all long distance and internet traffic was siphoned off to the government.
